Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 have been launched in India recently. Although two smartphones have been launched in the same budget segment, the ZenFone Max Pro M2 has a more powerful processor than the Redmi Note 6 Pro. The Redmi Note 6 Pro uses the same Sandragon 636 chipset, but the ZenFone Max Pro M2 has the latest Snapdragon 660 chipset. But how did these two phones perform together?

The same design as Redmi Note 5 Pro has been used in Redmi Note 6 Pro phone. However, the new phone is slightly smaller in size. There is no way to recognize these two phones by looking at them from behind. However, in front of the phone Redmi Note 6 Pro phone has a display notch. Asus has used a completely new design in ZenFone Max Pro M2. This smartphone will be available in two different colors. The back of the phone has a glossy finish. However, due to the glossy finish, fingerprints will easily remain.
There is a dual camera set up on the back of the phone. It comes with LED flash. Sometimes there is a fingerprint sensor just above the company logo. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 has a 6.26-inch display on the front. There is a notch on the top of this display. The aspect ratio of the display is 19: 9. The front of the phone also has the protection of the latest Gorilla Glass 6. The company said that this is the first time any phone in the budget midrange segment has used Gorilla Glass 6.
The frame of the ZenFone Max Pro M2 phone is made of plastic. On the right side of the phone is the power button volume rocker and on the left side is the SIM tray. The finger on the power button reached the hand, but the volume rocker had to gain a little speed to reach the finger.
At the bottom of the phone is the primary microphone, micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack up loudspeaker. There may be a secondary microphone on top of the phone. Many people may be disappointed as there is no USB Type-C at this price.

Redmi Note 6 Pro is currently launched in this one storage variant. There will be face unlock feature. Inside the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be a 4,000 mAh battery. This phone can be easily backed up in two days. Redmi Note 6 Pro can be charged quickly through fast charging.
Dual SIM Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 will run Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. This phone has a 6.26 inch 19: 9 aspect ratio display. There is a black notch on the top of the display. Inside the phone is a Snapdragon 660 chipset, 3GB / 4GB / 6GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB storage.
For connectivity, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 has dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB port and 3.5mm jack. Both SIM slots will support 4G VoLTE. The battery of Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 phone is 5,000 mAh.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro vs Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 Camera
The Redmi Note 6 Pro will have a 12MP + 5MP rear camera for taking pictures. It will have dual pixel autofocus and LED flash. The front of the phone will have a 20MP + 2MP selfie camera. Although it is possible to take good pictures in daylight, this phone has faced many problems in low light. Undoubtedly at this price Mi A2 phone can take better pictures than Redmi Note 6 Pro phone.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 has a 12MP + 5MP dual rear camera set up for taking pictures. The 12MP primary camera has a Sony IMX486 sensor. The secondary sensor of this phone will be used for deep sensing. The front of the phone has a 5MP selfie camera. The front and rear cameras have LED flash.
On the whole, good pictures were taken, but some pictures showed problems with exposure. During the test, some photos taken on Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 phone were overexposed in daylight. However, good color details have been found in this camera. Also good macro pictures have been taken with the camera of ZenFone Max Pro M2.
Opinions
ZenFone Max Pro M2 has beaten Redmi Note 6 Pro in almost all categories. Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 phone has a good processor, great battery and stock Android has caught our eye.
